Influential Ghana winger Frank Acheampon has completed a year loan deal to Chinese Super League side Tianjin Teda FC, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.
The former Anderlecht winger will be at the Chinese side until 2018 and will sign a permanent deal if he still wants to stay in the Asian country.
Acheampong will be playing alongside former Nigeria Super Eagles skipper John Obi Mikel who joined the club last season.
The Black Stars player was expected to make a big-money move to the rising football powerhouse but has opted to have a feel of the system before sealing a permanent deal.
Life in Asia will not be extremely tough for the former Anderlecht man as he has already tasted football in Asia with a short stint in Thailand.
The much-awaited deal was hatched by top German agent Oliver Konig who has been the representative of Frank for almost a decade now.
