COVID-19: King James Foundation Supports Residents Of Ashweniagmor With Food Items

In their quest to fight against Covid-19, King James Foundation has presented food items and personal protective equipment (PPEs) to over 700 households in ashweniagmor, a community within the Ga South Municipal Assembly in the Greater Accra region of Ghana.

Items donated include, Rice, Sugar, Cooking Oil, Gari , Hand Sanitizers and nose masks.

Speaking with the Chief Executive Officer and founder of King James Foundation, Apostle James Solomon Mensah, pointed out that the gesture was to support the less privileged in their small way to enable them cope with the challenges that come with the partial lockdown directive of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.

According to him, this is the time to show love and care, hence, urging his colleagues in ministry not to be too spiritual about the virus but rather extend hands to the less privileged in the society.

“yes, the COVID-19 is real but I advise my colleagues in ministry to not take this too spiritual, rather let’s come together as one and help people in need. This is the time we should give back to the society” he stressed.

During the presentation of the items, the three nurses who were there with the organization demonstrated how to properly wash the hands, practice personal and respiratory hygiene.

The team used the event to urged the public on the need to strictly observe all the precautionary measures and respect the directives of the President in order to help combat the spread of the novel COVID-19 pandemic.
