The Member of Parliament (MP) for Akim Oda constituency in the Birim Central Municipality Eastern Region Hon. William Adjepong Quaittoo has donated equipment to Thirty Five (35) Artisans in the Akyem Oda constituency.
The items donated includes Wall Hair Dryer, Standing Hair Dryer,Hand Dryer, Wall steamer, Ceramic Sink with Chair,Tonging Marching,Hair straigtnerst,Sterilizer marchine.
Other items includes Industrial Sewing machine, Motor plus Stand, Industrial Knithing Machine plus Motor and Stand, Overlock Machine plus Stand, Cutting Machine and Iron.
The beneficiaries were Tailors, Hairdresser and Barbers.
The MP, Hon William Adjepong Quaittoo in an interview with Ghananews247.com urged the beneficiaries to use the equipment to teach their apprentices so that after they graduate they can do great jobs.
He adviced the artisans not to use the equipment to decorate their shops rather they should make good use of it.
According to Hon William Adjepong Quaittoo he is not giving those items out because of vote but rather he is supporting artisans in the constituency.
He urged residents in the constituency to take part in the ongoing Voters registration.
He further adivce the residents to register so that can vote massively for the NPP Parliamentary Candidate in the constituency Nana Akufo and Mr. Alexander Akwasi Acquah in the December Election.
The beneficiaries expressed the gratitude to the Member of Parliament for the kind gesture.
They prayed for God’s Blessing for the MP.
