The Musama Disco Christo Church (MDCC) has been urged to put in place proper mechanism to address grievances among members of the church, rather than going public to wash their dirty linen.
The advice was given by the Obatan of Gomoa Odina in the Central Region, Nana Kwansah Yedu IV at a Send-Off Service for the Swedru District Area Minister of the Church, Rev. John Kwame Benyi-Eshun over the weekend.
Nana Kwansah Yedu who is also the Assistant Headmaster of Obrachire Senior High Technical School expressed worry why members of the Church resort to going public with the least misunderstanding, and blamed it on lack of proper communication mechanism put in place by the Church to address such impasse.
He said many churches have serious internal wranglings, yet they do not go public to wash their dirty linen because of proper mechanism put in place to address such impasse. The MDCC has been rocked with over a decade legal tussle over the leadership of the Church which has led to e breakaway faction to form the Musama Church Int. (MCI). As a result of this impasse, the Church has also lost most of its members.
The outgoing minister, Rev. John Benyi-Eshun on his part expressed delight for the support he enjoyed from the members of the Church during his four year tenure of office as the District Area Minister of the Church.
A citation was later presented to some members of the Church for their dedication and commitment to the growth and development of the Church.
