The traditional leaders of Nii Boi Royal Family of the Asere-Kotopon quarter of the Ga state have refirmed the legitimacy of the Chief of the Nii BoiMan electoral area, Nii Armah Noryaa I, subordination towards his kingmakers, swearing oath and legally installation of sub-chiefs.
Sepaking at a news conference held at the Abeka palace, the Head of Nii Boi Family Of Abeka, Mr.Samuel Akrong Esq, stated that the legitimacy of Nii Armah Noryaa I who doubled as the Principal Elder and a grandson of late Abeka Mantse, for which in his private life known as Elliot Yartey Boi, who was re-enstooled on September 19th 2020, at Abeka Mantse Palace as Nii Yarboi I as the legitimate Nii BoiMan chief for Solly representing the people of Nii BoiMan, Abeka Royal Family of Asere Kotopon.
According to him, on the 12th day of September, 2020, between the hours of 10am and 11am, certain unscrupulous persons numbering over twenty, some on a motor bikes and others in a bus, armed with various offensive weapons, including firearms, went to the private residence of Nii Amarh Noryaa I, chief of Nii BoiMan and, claiming to have authority to de-stool the chief, attacked him.
The assailants at a gun point and by use of threats coerced Nii Amarh Noryaa I to denounce himself as a chief. These criminal arts have been reported to the Tesano Police Station and the Greater Accra Regional Police Headquarters, and action is being taken to bring the perpetrators to book.
He reiterated to the fact that the Nii Boi Royal Family of Abeka strongly condemns the unwarranted attacked and would like to state categorically that Nii Amarh Noryaa I, is still the legitimate chief of Nii BoiMan. Further, the family reiterates that it is the rightful and the only ‘WE’ (gate) from which the chief of Nii BoiMan can be nominated and enstooled and that Nii Amarh Noryaa I is a true Royal from the family, duly nominated and enstooled to represent the Nii Boi Royal Family as the chief of Nii BoiMan since 2014 as the legitimate chief.
Henceforth, the general public is respectfully advised to disregard any publications and videos circulating and making rounds that suggest that Nii Amarh Noryaa I has been de-stooled as the legitimate chief of Nii BoiMan.
The joint press statement signed by all the Nii Boi Royal Family Heads and copied to GA Traditional Council, The Municipal Chief Executive, Okai Kwei North Municipal Assembly Abeka-Accra, The IGP Ghana Police Headquarters, The Regional Police Command, The Chairman of Regional Security Council, Divisional Commander of Tesano Police Station, The District Commander Mile 7 Police Station, BNI Division Tesano, The District Commander Isreal Police Station, Nii Amarkai III Asere Dzaasetse and to all media houses.
