Am confident that Allah will heal Ghana of COVID-19 after Ramadan” – Asene Manso Akroso MP

The Member of Parliament for Asene Akroso Manso constituency in the Eastern Region, Hon. George Kwame Aboagye, aka “Oluwa” has stated that he has a strong conviction that Allah will cause the coronavirus pandemic to disappear from Ghana by the end of ongoing Holy Ramadan period.

“I know for a fact that our Muslim brothers and sisters always bring good luck to Ghana whenever they begin and end their month long self affliction and prayers and so i strongly believe that before this year’s period ends, God will heal our country of the novel COVID-19 global pandemic” he said.

The Member of Parliament, made this assertions when he donated several items and an undisclosed amount of money to Muslim communities within the Asene Akroso Manso constituency in order to motivate and strengthen them to have a fruitful fast.

The items donated includes bags of rice, sugar, boxes of Lipton tea, cartons of milk and many others.

Hon. George Kwame Aboagye further gave multiple relief items and cash to over 1200 natives of the constituency who returned to the area before president Akufo Addo placed the partial lockdown ban restrictions on areas like Greater Accra, Team, Kumasi and Kasoa in the Central Region.

On his part, the Chief Imam of Asene Manso Akroso, Alhaji Seidu Subero Jaifa who received the items on behalf of the Muslim community, expressed profound gratitude to the MP for the kind gesture. He also used the opportunity to urge all Muslims to diligently partake in the Holy Ramadan to enable Allah deliver Ghana and the rest of the world from the deadly COVID-19 pandemic.
