
The Member of Parliament for Asene Akroso Manso, George Kwame Aboagye, has embarked on a two-day constituency-wide tour to educate his people on the need to comply with the safety protocols.
The tour included the District Chief Executive, Alex Incoom and some constituency officers of the New Patriotic Party in the area.
Over twenty communities were visited by the team. They visited Mante, Yaw Donkor, Teacher Atta, Asibirim, Apeani, Samankwa, Nyamenti, Small London, Nyamebekyere, Parkso, Owusu, Takorasi, Oteipro, Kyeremasi and other towns and villages with their education.
According to Oluwa, as the MP is popularly called, the spread of the novel coronavirus pandemic has adversely affected the constituency, region, Ghana and the world in its entirety has necessitated the need to educate the people of the dangers associated with the virus.
He further stated that with the rapid spread of the virus in the communities, it is essential that the people strictly adhere to the safety measures as announced by the Ghana Health Service.
The Member of Parliament used the occasion to donate Veronica buckets, hand sanitizers, liquid soaps, tissues, etc.
The chiefs and people of these beneficiary towns showed their appreciation to Honourable George Kwame Aboagye and his entourage.
