Polling station executives, electoral area coordinators, and council of elders of the Asene Akroso Manso Constituency New Patriotic Party (NPP) today, Saturday 20th June 2020 acclaimed the incumbent Member of Parliament Hon George Kwame Aboagye AKA Oluwa as the party’s candidate for the 2020 parliamentary elections.
The acclamation ceremony was held in Akyem Asuosu Electoral area and were supervised by the Municipal Electoral Officer, Madam Devine.
The acclamation comes weeks after nominations were closed in the constituency and at the end of the stipulated time, only one candidate in the person of Hon George Kwame Aboagye as the only candidate to have picked forms in the constituency.
The Member of Parliament addressing the delegates thanked them and promised to keep working hard for the NPP in the constituency.
He promised to continue with the developmental project he is doing in the constituency.
He pleaded with the people to be patient with the NPP government because more projects are on their way coming to the constituency.
Hon George Kwame Aboagye ask the people to rally their support behind NPP to make the nation great.
The Senior Minister Hon Osafo Marfo said the constituency is for him so he will continue to support the constituency to be great.
He expressed his gratitude to the delegates for choosing Hon George Kwame Aboagye to go unopposed and promise to help him succeed has Member of Parliament for Asene Akroso Manso constituency.
He said looking at the work President Akufo Addo has done so far in the country NPP government is going to rule for long time.
Hon Osafo Marfo encourage the party supporter’s to work hard in the constituency so that they can retire NDC.
He said NPP need at least 15 seat more to add up to the one they have in Parliament so that in case NDC refuses to come to Parliament they will not wait for them but rether will continue to for mother Ghana.
