Madam Juliet Gyamfi, CEO of Beautiful Beneath, a shop that deals in ladies underwear and sportswear has congratulated the senior female national football team, the Black Queens for winning their tough first match against Algeria at the 11th Total Africa Women’s Championship hosted by Ghana.
According to Madam Gyamfi, it is not easy playing under the pressure of hosting to win, and the fact that preparations have not been the best.
She was however optimistic that the Black Queens can scale all the obstacles and qualify to the next FIFA Womens World Cup.
The keen sports enthusiast said sports has suddenly united Ghanaians again, so the government must build more sports facilities and encourage businesses in sports.
She expressed that Ghana hosting the current African Women’s Championship has opened the nation for tourism and business.
She urged the supporters not to stop cheering the Queens, but go all out to motivate and inspire them to win the trophy for the first time.
Madam Gyamfi also commended the young Black Maidens who are doing great things at the FIFA World Under 17 Championship in far awauUruguay, and advised them not to be complescent but fight as underdogs and rise to the occasions.
“Ghana is a blessed nation, we need to show love to our nation and our fellows to succeed, we have what it takes in good organization and winning, and we are capable” she said.
