The mother of a teenage boy whose head was kicked by a personnel of City Guard of the Agona West Municipal Assembly has expressed worry and fear that his son is beginning to show signs of mental disorder after that incidents.
According to the poor mother, Mad. Rebecca Boah, her son Kwame Tsiboah who is a head potter at Agona Swedru was last week Thursday asked by a bread seller to carry her loaves of bread to her selling spot which he obliged, but as he was about to leave the place, a mobile phone credit merchant falsely accused him of stealing some of his cards and was therefore subjected to severe beatings and in the process, the personnel of the City Guard kicked his head whiles they had forced him to kneel down, leading to him falling unconscious and bleeding from the nose.
Narrating her son’s ordeal to Ghananews247.com, Mad. Boah said she was on her way attending a friend’s party when someone showed her her son on social media been beating, with blood oozing out of his nostrils.
According to her, since that gruesome incidents, her son has begun showing signs of mental disorder, though he was issued a police medical form and subsequently treated at the hospital.
Though the case is currently before the Court, people are of the view that the perpetrators of the heinous acts should be made to taste the full rigors of the law to serve as deterrent to others who have the habit of subjecting suspect to instant justice.
