2020 showdown…”Ghana needs prayers to avert election violence’

FOUNDER and General Overseer of Healing Grace Ministries International, Prophet William Akoto, has called on religious bodies and dedicated Christians to commit the nation into the hands of the Lord to avert any possible unforeseen circumstance which may ought to befall the success of the incoming 2020 general elections in the country.

According to the man of God, he foresaw a bloodshed during the 2020 elections and that has compelled him to ask all Ghanaians to be steadfast in prayers and ask for God’s intervention.

“This is a prophetic declaration. Let us not put this country at risk. We have enjoyed the peace and we must maintain it. God is good and God has been good to Ghana,” said by Prophet William Akoto.

He asserted that as the 2020 general approaches, the political opponents are gearing up for a battle saying that battle to retain power by the incumbent or recapture the seat from the ruling New Patrotic Party (NPP) government.

“But this is not an easy task. There has been a fiery battle between communicators of both parties but the electorate will decide ultimately. Aside that, God is the final say. We need to commit the nation into the hands of the Lord,” he stressed.

To this end, Prophet William Akoto advised the youth not to allow themselves to be used to foment trouble.

He explained that as youth, they have a major role to play in the socio-economic development of the nation but if care was not taken, their attention would be diverted to what would not benefit them and the nation.

“We the youth have a major stake in the affairs of the nation but at times for the sake of some coins that politicians give us, we allow ourselves to be used to foment trouble,” the man of God stressed.

He noted that such actions were not helping cohesiveness of the nation, especially the youth.
