MP for Asene Akroso Manso constituency in collaboration with DCE for Asene Manso Akroso District has cut sod for the construction of 12 projects.

The District Chief Executive (DCE) of Asene Manso Akroso District Hon Alex Incoom together with the Member of Parliament for Asene Akroso Manso constituency in Eastern Region, Hon George Kwame Aboagye have cut sod for the construction of a 12 projects in the Asene Manso Akroso District.

The projects includes 6 units classroom block with ancillary facilities for Akroso presby primary, 6 units classroom block with ancillary facilities for Akroso Methodist primary, 6 units classroom block with ancillary facilities for Nyamenti D/A primary, 3 units classroom block with ancillary facilities for Akroso RC JHS, Mofram CHPS compound, and Upgrading of Bantama to Kyeremase road.

Other projects includes 6 Units classroom block for Suponsu D/A primary, Upgrading of Suponsu JN to suponsu feeder road, 2 units classroom block for Asuboa Zion KG, 2 units classroom block for Manso Presby KG, Upgrading of Manso Odumasi – camp feeder road and Modern Durbar ground for Akyem Manso.

 

The Member of Parliament for Asene Akroso Manso constituency Hon George Kwame Aboagye in an interview with the Media stated that he is an agent of development and believes in bringing developmental project to the constituency.

According to him he is not bringing the projects to the constituency because of vote but rather he is fulfilling the promise he made to the constituency before he becomes the Member of Parliament for the constituency.

He urged the people to take advantage of the planting for food and jobs because very soon government is going to build factory in the constituency.

Hon George Kwame Aboagye pleaded with the people to cooperate with the contractor in order to complete the project on time.

Hon Alex Incoom the District Chief Executive of Asene Manso Akroso District urged the chiefs and people in Asene Manso Akroso District to rally their support behind the government to enable it continue to undertake more developmental projects for them.

The District he noted had lagged behind for far too long in the areas of health, roads, Electricity, modern Agriculture and others.

“The President wants all children to go to school and for that reason, he made education free but if the access to these schools is not there, then it hampers smooth education of these children and some may go and end up not completing their education. So we are constructing the schools to prevent that and enable the children to go to school,” he said.

The government was therefore showing full commitment to fulfil all campaign promises made to the people of Asene Manso Akroso District and asked the people to continue supporting it.

The Chief of Akyem Manso who double as the Benkum Hene of Akyem Kotoku Traditional Council Obrempong Sintim Poku III expressed his gratitude to the President for giving them their share of the national cake.

According to the Chief before 2016 election the President made a promise to them that when he becomes the President he will bring projects to the area so he is very grateful for all the projects government is doing in Asene Manso Akroso District.

Obrempong Sintim Poku III asked the people to continue supporting the NPP to develop the area.
