The Parliamentary Candidate for the ruling New Patriotic Party of Akwatia constituency in the Eastern Region Hon Ernest Yaw Kumi has advised party faithfuls and sympathizers to run a decent campaign devoid insult ahead of the 2020 general election.
He says, aggrieved members of his party in the constituency who are threatening to vote skirt and blowse in the general election should rescind their decision .
Mr. Kumi has described their stand as unfortunate and urged them to ponder over their decision for the best interest of the party .
These members who are supporters of the incumbent MP , Hon. Mercy Ama Gyamfi Belo could not stand and fathom the shocking incumbency demise of their aspirant in the four vote margin during the just ended parliamentary primary in the constituency.
Speaking to the Papa Story TV in an interview, Mr Ernest Kumi outlined his political ambition which factor most on education.
He says he will put every educational support and input to help build the education system in the constituency and beyond.
Although I am not a Memeber of Parliament, majority of our towns like Boadua, Bamenase few to mention have benefited from donation of computers from me to some basic schools in the constituency ‘he noted.’
Mr Kumi who is Parliamentary Candidate elect for NPP in the Akwatia constituency calls for utmost unity among the executives and party sympathizers to retain the seat.
