Companies Donate Towards Mofiamo Clean-Up Exercise

Ahead of the “Mofiamo” clean-up exercise, some companies of the port community donated items like dust bins, boxes of water and drinks as well as cheque and cash contributions to support the exercise.

Key Port Management donated 10 waste bins, Bollore Transport and Logistics donated 5 waste bins, 4 drums of disinfectant and ten boxes of mineral water, ACS donated 5 waste bins, Comet Ghana Limited donated 15 cartons of flash energy drink and twenty t-shirts, GSL and Sir Lab Stevedoring Limited donated 5 waste bins each.

Also, GHACEM donated 5 waste bins, twenty boxes of mineral water and ten crates of assorted soft drinks. Joint Association of Port Transport Unions donated 10 waste bins and 20 boxes of mineral water, APS donated 15 bags of sachet water, 5 waste bins, 8crates of canned drinks, 10 pieces of shovel and 10 hard brush whiles Customs Brokers Association of Ghana (CUBAG) donated twenty waste bins.

Damco donated 5 boxes of mineral water and three gallons of disinfectant. Ghana Shippers’ Authority donated 10 boxes of mineral water. Flamingo donated 5 waste bins and 3 crates of soft drinks. TBT donated 5 waste bins.

Tema Bonded Terminal made a donation of Gh₵5,000, Safebond donated GH₵5,000, Sir Lab Stevedoring Limited donated Gh₵2,000, PIL Ghana Limited donated Gh₵1,000 while CMTR (Mali) donated 500cedis.

Fruit Terminal Company Limited donated GH¢2000, GT Bank donated GH¢1000, German Stevedoring donated 10 boxes of mineral water, COSMO donated 60 boxes of mineral water, Ghana Dock Labour Company donated 30 boxes of mineral water and 5 waste bins and GMS donated 10 boxes of mineral water and 5 waste bins.

Conship donated 15 local brooms, 10 packet of sachet water and 5 gallons of liquid soap, APS donated 10 boxes of mineral water and 5 waste bins, Gelloq donated 5 waste bins and BMT donated 10 boxes of water.

The Director General of the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority, Paul Asare Ansah supported by his able Deputy, the Director of Tema Port, Edward Osei and the entire management staff of the port community extends  great appreciation to all companies and individuals for contributing both in kind and in cash towards the “MOFIAMO” clean-up exercise.
