Every Pastor Need To Undergo Theological Training – Director

The founder of New Life Global Outreach Ministry Int. and Director of the New Life Bible Institute at Agona Duakwa in the Central Region, Apostle Steven Nana Nhyira has said it is incumbent on every minister of the gospel to obtain training in theology, as according to him, that helps to shape one’s ability and dealings in the work of God.

Speaking in an interview with Ghananews247.com, Apostle Nhyiraba debunked the assertion held by some that attending a Bible school does not make one a good worker in the ministry, but rather one’s zeal for the work, noting that obtaining formal training in theology helps to shape and broadens the scope of the trained minister.

He said it does not only require an elite to undergo such training but anyone who has received the calling of God. According to him, though the Institute was established just two years ago, it has trained over thirty pastors who are in active ministry.

He however disclosed that the Institute has a mechanism in place that monitors the activities of every graduant, and anyone who goes contrary to the laid down principles and ethics of the Bible will have his or her certificate revoked. He later hinted that the Institute also runs online courses for people who can not attend normal lectures because of proximity.
