“We Are Not Inferior To The Whiteman”

The high rate of indiscipline in the country nowadays, particularly among the youth, coupled with the copying of foreign way of life and culture has been attributed to neglect and lack of self-esteem. As a result of this, not only Ghanaians, but Africans, have always considered themselves as inferior to anything from the Western world, and have allowed themselves to be lorded over by the so-called whites.

This concern was expressed by the founder of the Living Faith Chapel Int. and Proprietor of Living Faith Preparatory School at Gomoa Benso Rev. Anim Addae, and the Swedru branch minister of the Destiny House Assembly, Prophet Justice Osei Sarkodie all in the Central Region.

According to them, Africans, including its leaders have continuously allowed themselves to be manipulated by these so-called whites for far too long, because of their perceived poverty, selling their rights and dignity as human beings to them on the altar of aid.

According to the Clergy, it is high time African leaders learn to be self-dependent and create job opportunities for its teeming youths who migrate to look for menial and non-existent jobs in the so-called developed countries.

According to them, it has always been the policy of the so-called Whiteman to always destroy every good thing about Africa, including its culture, thereby trying to force the acceptance of the practice of same sex marriage, which is alien to Africa’s cultural practices and norms on the continent.

They have therefore admonished leaders of the continent to be kings in their own territories and not allow themselves to be lorded over and dictated to by any foreigner in their own land.

This, they said calls first, for the emancipation of the mind not only on the part of the leaders, but of the people of the continent to be self-esteemed and respect their culture, which is their identity.
