The semi-final matches of the Sanford Women’s FA Cup will be honoured this weekend in Accra and Sunyani respectively.
Police Ladies and Immigration Ladies will clash at the Asamoah Gyan Sports Complex at Accra Academy on Saturday, while Prisons Ladies play Ampem Darkoa Ladies at the Sunyani Coronation Park on Sunday.
As promised by the sponsors, Sanford World Clinics, there will be a health screening exercise for both players and female spectators who turn up for the game in Accra.
In commeration of World Breast Cancer Day, there will be the following screening:
1. Breast Examination on all the players before the match as well as female spectators
2. Blood pressure monitoring
3. Deliver first aid during play.
It is hoped that the screening exercise will motivate more female fans to attend the game and support women’s football.
