Asene-Akroso- Manso Member of Parliament (MP), Hon. George Kwame Aboagye, popularly known as “Oluwa” as part of efforts to combat COVID- 19 in the constituency, donates Personal Protective Equipment worth about Thirty Thousand (30, 000) Ghana Cedis to his costituents.
The items include Hand Sanitizers, Liquid soap, Gloves, Nose Masks, Veronica buckets and tissues.
The beneficiaries include the Akroso Clinic, Okada Riders, Market women, Taxi Drivers,Police and people living within the constituency.
Hon. George Kwame Aboagye in his address, advised his constituents to follow the laid down precautionary measures to prevent contracting the virus, which includes regular hand washing under running water and the use of hand sanitizers.
He also cautioned them to practice social distancing, avoid hugging and do regular exercise.
He urged them to take very good care of the items and use them wisely for the time being.
The District Director of Health Mr. Kojo Owusu Ansah receiving the items on behalf of the Akroso Health Center, thank the MP Hon George Kwame Aboagye for the kind gesture and said the P.P.Es will help them deliver their duties very well.
He urged the Member of Parliament to continue and support the facility.
