Thirty two selected school children from the various Presbyterian schools in the Agona Swedru District last Saturday received school uniforms and other teaching and learning materials (TLM’s) from the Church in Agona Swedru.
The children who were mainly in lower primary were selected from the Gomoa Abassa 1 and 2, Agona Abodom, Gomoa Denkyira, Gomoa Ayensuadze and the Agona Swedru A and B Presbyterian schools.
The District Minister in charge of the Church, Rev. Nana Osei Owusu Fosu who presented the items thanked the Protestantiches Roxheim in Bohenheim-Germany for donating to the course.
He said the gesture forms part of the long standing relationship between the Church and their German counterparts.
He later hinted that the children who benefitted from the gesture are basically children from needy homes.
