Accra Hearts of Oak, partnered StarLife Assurance Limited

Accra Hearts of Oak, a premier club in Ghana has partnered StarLife Assurance Limited to launch “Phobia Assure”, a comprehensive insurance package for stakeholders, supporters and players to benefit by subscribing to the product offer.

Speaking during the event, Kakra Duffour-Nyarko, CEO StarLife Assurance says the deal has a dual benefit of promoting the importance of a life insurance policy while supporting one of their favourite football clubs.

She explained that Phobia Assure was created by Phobia fans for phobia fans. The selection of products within Phobia Assure takes a 360-degree view of the typical Phobia fan and provides insurance protection that covers every aspect of their life, from their own well-being to that of their children, and to their final call to glory.

She further stated, “life, just like a football career, can end instantly due to injury or death, it can show you a red card and take you out of the game, sometimes, permanently. With the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, there exist now more than ever the need to secure our life and those of our beneficiaries and dependants. Phobia Assure makes this possible for Phobia fans. According to the CEO of StarLife Assurance, Kakra Duffour-Nyarko, with the new Phobia Assure, phobians can sign up to policies such as Phobia Ultimate Protection plan, Phobia WealthMaster Plan, Phobia Child Lifeplan and Phobia HomeCall Plan.

Hearts of Oak CEO, Frederick Moore was elated for the partnership and said Big Cash Ghana Limited after couple of interactions with football industry leaders and clubs on the African continent, realized that they needed to come up with innovative ways of developing sponsorships for football clubs to improve football wellbeing and overall standards.

He was of the view that the deal was a win-win for both partners and supporters are obliged to patronise the partnership products from StarLife.

Mr. Frederick Moore was optimistic that once these products are patronized,the players will be lifted up for them to also lift the trophy.

Nii Tetteh Mensah Kpotse I, Pobiman Mantse who graced the launch was delighted about the prospect of Hearts of Oaks Pobiman Sport Academy which will be commissioned later this year and was happy that the project will provide jobs for the teaming youth of Pobiman community.

The deal saw management of StarLife presenting a 47 seater Hyundai Bus to Hearts of Oak sporting Club.
