Nana Yaw Ampem-Darko Antwi, Marketing & Communications Manager has disclosed that Ashfoam is about to roll out a program to reward sports champions in the communities and national level.
Addressing the Press during presentation of a package to the Ghana Olympic Committee (GOC) towards the first African Beach Games, he said Ashfoam offers a one-stop shop for every home needs including mattresses, curtains, towels, bed sheets, pillows, rugs, mats, furniture-sofas and couches.
He added that they have diversified and now produces metal furniture like school bunk beds, tables, chairs and schools uniforms.
“Ashfoam quality living room, bedroom and bathroom products are very much patronized and we want to use sports and leisure activities to reward our loyal customers” he expressed.
He said Ashfoam is ready to support all the federations through the GOC.
Ben Nunoo Mensah, President of the GOC said Ghanaians are very much talented in other disciplines like athletics (track & field), badminton, boxing, basketball, hockey, golf, martial arts, rugby, tennis, weightlifting, volleyball, bodybuilding and others who must all be supported by the government, but it is not easy so corporate bodies must come on board to help market Ghana among the best sports nations.
Ashfoam has presented branded polo shirts and an amount of $4,600 for airline tickets for some of the athletes going to represent Ghana at the Sal 2019 Games in Cape Verde.
