The founder of God’s Miracle Prayer Ministry, Pastor Eric Bentum has described as worrying the behavior of some self-acclaimed men of God who parade themselves as demigods on television and on radio and on social media, claiming to have solutions to every problem, including making barren women bear children, and selling all manner of items in their church to the unsuspecting congregation for protection and prosperity .
Pastor Bentum The concern was raised the concern at the sidelines of a 5-Day non-denominational Annual Revival at Gomoa Ekwamkrom in the Central Region over the weekend on the theme: “Fire for Fire-To Destroy Our Enemies”. According to him, this development is gradually becoming a common norm nowadays, and needs to be checked.
He said instead of teaching and preaching about the endtime and the kingdom of God, majority of pastors, especially those from the charismatic churches have rather resorted to easy means of making money to enrich themselves at the expense of their unsuspecting congregation.
He has therefore advised the public to guard against such men of God to avoid being duped.
