Bring PEACE To The World Through Eid Al-Adha Sacrifices – Apostle Francis Amoako Attah Urges Muslims

Apostle Francis Amoako Attah

The Founder and Leader of Parliament Chapel International (PCI), Apostle Francis Amoako Attah has urged Muslims to use the celebration of Eid Al-Adha which marks the true essence of Islam and submission to the will of Allah as exhibited by Prophet Ibrahim, to bring total PEACE to the world.

He said, toady which marks Eid Al-Adha is a “Day of forgiveness, a day of settlement and a day of reconciliation, and that if Muslim should understand this, they will bring total peace to the whole world.

Apostle Francis Amoako Attah was speaking on Anopa BofoƆ program on Angel Fm today, where he indicated that since the day is a day of sacrifice Muslim community especially the youth must focus and sacrifice anything to prove that their religion is a religion of PEACE.

He said, they must be willing to convince people that their religion is PEACE by ensuring that what they practice reflects what they exhibit in public.

Apostle Francis Amoako Attah said Muslim youth shouldn’t just kill cattle on the day and make merry, but kill “their own self, their attitude and anything that push them apart from Islam (PEACE).”

He averred that Christ sacrificed for us, so we must keep on sacrificing by seating down and reflect.

He quoted Prophet Mohammed as saying that “The best people in society are people who are beneficial to society,” and hence called on Muslims youth to follow this saying and become beneficial to society and being the best people the world could have.

“If you are sacrificing the Lamb of God, the lamb that Allah exchanged for Isaac why should you still hold grudge with others?” You must bring peace, make peace and exhibit peace at all times.”

He explained that what brings peace in the home is the power of submission of a woman and Islam has proven to be a perfect example of such peace hence followers and believers of Islam must endeavour to hold that position so dear because it is envy to others.

“In Islam, a man can marry as many as four wives, they will all live in the same house but you will not see or hear them fighting. Why? Because the women will do everything to submit to their husband. That is why when it comes to Marriage, Muslim marriage is a good example. Submission brings PEACE.”

He gave the traditional background of Eid Al-Adha and explained that everything about Christianity is spiritual and Muslim, physical.

According to him, when God called Abraham and asked him for sacrifice using Ishmael, God later exchange Ismael with a ram/lamb which the Muslims kill today as sacrifice.

He said the spirit of Sacrifice permeate all Religion as exhibited in the Bible, Genesis 22 “After these things God tested Abraham and said to him, “Abraham!” And he said, “Here I am.”  He said, “Take your son, your only son Isaac, whom you love, and go to the land of Moriah, and offer him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains of which I shall tell you.” So Abraham rose early in the morning, saddled his donkey, and took two of his young men with him, and his son Isaac. And he cut the wood for the burnt offering and arose and went to the place of which God had told him. 4On the third day Abraham lifted up his eyes and saw the place from afar.  Then Abraham said to his young men, “Stay here with the donkey; I and the boy will go over there and worship and come again to you.”  And Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering and laid it on Isaac his son.”

Making out the similarities in Ishmael/Isaac and Jesus Christ, Apostle Francis Amoako Attah revealed that Abraham Abraham saw the place on the 3rd day and Christ rose on 3rd day.

“Abraham asked Isaac to carry the wood, Christ carried the cross made from wood.”

“Abraham was with two other men, there were two other men crucified with Christ.”

“Abraham said God will provide himself a lamb, and Jesus was called the Lamb of God.”

He said, in all these scenarios, everything came back to Sacrifice and Crucifixion and that the Cross is the centre of life, centre of our future and the centre of our blessings.

A Call On Rev. Owusu Bempah

Apostle Francis Amoako Attah at the later part of his teachings called on Reverend Owusu Bempah to look into the ideals of Eid Adhar and forgive every Muslim who wronged him in any way, especially Nana Agradaa.

He quoted Luke 23: 11: 12 “Then Herod and his soldiers ridiculed and mocked him. Dressing him in an elegant robe, they sent him back to Pilate. That day Herod and Pilate became friends – before this they had been enemies,” and said since this day is a day for forgiveness and reconciliation and of sacrifices, Rev. Osofo Bempah should have the heart to forgive.

“If Herod and Pilate can became friends on this day, we must all become one through forgiveness and bring peace to all. He must temper justice with mercy and forgive the lady,” he said.
