Executive Chairman of Kotoku Royals FC Mr. Linford Boadu Asamoah set the record straight on Akyem Oda Municipal park.

The Executive Chairman of Kotoku Royals FC,
Mr. Linford Boadu Asamoah, has addressed issues concerning the Akyem Oda Municipal park. He also used the occasion to express the team’s gratitude to the people who helped Kotoku Royals FC to qualify to the Ghana Premier League.

Speculations have it that the contractor who have been contracted to rehabilitate the Akyem Oda Municipal park to meet the Ghana Football Association’s standard had moved from site due to monetary issues.

According to some supporters, any time they visit the park to see how the project is progressing, they don’t see any development so they appealed to the management of the team to sort things out with the contractor in order to meet the deadline given to them by the GFA.

The Executive Chairman of Kotoku Royals FC Mr. Linford Boadu Asamoah, addressing the supporters in a press conference stated that, they don’t have issues with the contractor as far as the project is concerned.

He said they have concluded everything necessary with the contractor and will make sure they stick to the contract they have signed.

Mr. Linford Boadu Asamoah urged the supporters to always rely on the information either from the communications director, Mr. Okatakyei Kofi Afrifa, the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Akwesi Amponsa or himself, the Executive Chairman of Kotoku Royals FC.

He reiterated that, in order for the team to play their matches in Akim Oda, efforts are being made to meet the deadline for the Akyem Oda Municipal park to be approved by Ghana Football Association Licensing Board.

He added that, they are still speaking to their coach for him to come over for them to start preparations for the up coming games.

He revealed that they are putting up structures that will propel the team and soon they will make everything public to update the supporters and the general public to know what is happening in the team.

In conclusion,
Mr. Asamoah extended the team’s gratitude and appreciation to everyone who helped Kotoku Royals FC to reach the premier league. He distinguished Oseadeayo Dr. Frimpong Manso IV, the Omanhene of Akyem Kotoku Traditional Council and Nana Akua Asantewaa II, Queen mother of Kotoku traditional Council and the entire Chiefs and Elders of Akyem Kotoku Traditional Council.
He further mentioned, Hon. Alexander Akwasi Acquah , MP for Akyem Oda Constituency, Hon. Osafo Marfo, former MP Oda and Senior Advisor to the president of Ghana and Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, MP Ofoase Ayirebi, Hon, George Kwame Aboagye MP for Asene Akroso constituency, Hon. Kofi Ahinkra Marfo MP for Akyem Achiase constituency, Hon. Fredrick Adom Obeng MP for Upper West Akyem constituency,Hon. Raymond Damptey District Chief Executive for Akyem Abirem ,Mr. Larry Kweku Attefua, Mr. J A Biney, Mr. Kwasi Kwaning Bosompem,  Young Kofata and Odi Ahinkai Kwame Yeboah.
