Ghanaians Must Also Take Legal Steps To Dissolve The Presidency – Dr Seidu Jasaw

A Senior Lecturer of the University for Development Studies UDS Wa Campus, Dr Godfred Seidu Jasaw has called on Ghanaians to use all available legal steps to dissolve the Presidency, following Kwesi Nyantakyi’s damming revelations about the Presidency in the recent exposee by Investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
Ghana Football Association President, Kwesi Nyantakyi and many others have been caught in the recently premiered investigative piece by Anas Aremeyaw Anas dubbed Number 12.
Mr Kwesi Nyantakyi was caught on tape receiving $65,000 bribe from an Investor in order to influence the award of contracts from the Presidency.
Kwesi Nyantakyi among other things, also alleged that for one to get a contract under this government, all that is needed to be done is to give $5 million, $3 million, $2 and $1 million to the President, Vice President, Minister of Roads and Deputy Chief of Staff respectively.
Following public outcry for strict actions to be taken in prosecuting culprits in the video, the government through the Information Minister has issued a statement to indicate steps to be taken by government to dissolve the Ghana Football Association.
But reacting to this in a Facebook post, Dr Godfred Seidu Jasaw called on Government not to sweep the Political aspect of the case under a carpet.
He said, “for someone in the Caliber of GFA President, CAF Vice President and FIFA Council Member to make such revelations about the Presidency, it paints a picture of how bad the situation is.”
The Senior Lecturer therefore called on Ghanaians to use all available legal steps to dissolve Ghana’s Presidency to ensure Sanity.
