A new and upcoming gospel sensation, Benny Cobbs has released the Music Video to his latest single titled “EDIN NO.”
His latest hit, “EDIN NO” was released after Benny Cobbs recorded his debut album in 2018 in a garage via a concept he called “Garagelive.”
“EDIN NO” is enjoying massive airplay in the country and available on all digital stores across the globe.
The hit song, “EDIN NO” talks about the power in the name of Jesus and seeks to encourage the listener not to doubt the power in the name of Jesus, the name above all names.
In an interview with Benny Cobbs, he said Jesus Christ is his first inspiration, and explained that the life of Jesus Christ while on earth as written in the Holy Bible inspires him and directs his path in the way to go and how to approach music in the industry.
He mentioned Joe Mettle, Ohemaa Mercy, Yaw Sarpong, Donnie McClurkin, Pastor Joe Becheem, William McDowell, Dr Sonnie Badu and Nathaniel Bassey and the late Danny Nettey of blessed memory as great people who inspire him as he builds his music career.
Benny Cobbs was born in Takoradi to the late Apostle James Aben Cobbinah Whajah and Mrs. Cynthia Cobbinah Whajah of the Apostolic Church Ghana.
Benny Cobbs’ first love for music was expressed as a drummer for the Apostolic Church in Elmina, Cape Coast, a passion which developed into singing when he relocated to Accra in 2009 to serve under Rev. Isaac Opoku of the In Him Is Life Church.
Benny is a diehard fan of the sensational Ghanaian gospel group “Soul Winners” and was greatly inspired by the singing style of former leader of the group (Appiah).
