The founder and General Overseer of the Christ Chapel Mission Int. Bishop Abraham John Bankam Kwofie has revealed that grievance in most men against their wives is one of the leading causes of irresponsible fatherhood.
Speaking ahead of this year’s Fathers Day Celebration at a special sermon in Agona Swedru, Bishop Abraham Kwofie noted that some women often treat their partners so badly that the man will refuse to take cater of the woman, and this he said when happens in most cases transcends to the children.
He gave instances where some women have told their husbands in the face that they are not the biological fathers of their children, but they later turn round and accuse the men of shirking their responsibility as a father.
Though he admitted that some men are merely irresponsible, he however stressed that most of these irresponsible fatherhood behavior exhibited by some men is as a result of the fault of the women.
He later admonished men going through such grievances to let go of the paint harbored against their wives and take care of their children, as they brought forth into the world through no fault of theirs.
