The Assembly Member for Towobotom Electoral areas in Birim Central Municipality Eastern Region Hon Clement Attefua as part of effort to support the aged in society has donates items worth over Thousands of Ghana Cedis to over 200 aged people in Towobotom electoral area.
The items donated by Hon clement Attafuah together with his unit committee members includes Rice,Oil and Tin fish.
The Assembly Man, who went from house-to-house to distribute the items and interacted with the beneficiaries, said the gesture was to bring some comfort to them as they celebrates Christmas.
He underlined his determination to do everything he could to make things a bit better for the vulnerable in the electoral area.
Hon Clement Attefua explained that the intervention which falls under his Social Intervention Initiative was aimed at supporting the most vulnerable and elderly who would have difficulty with providing food as well as basic hygiene products for themselves and their families in light of the current situation and subsequent days ahead.
He urged the people living the electoral area to continue and support him so that they can develop the electoral area together.
The beneficiaries were very happy with the good initiative by the Hon Assembly member and also asked for God’s blessing on him because it has never happened before in the towobotom electoral area.
