Joy4Fame CEO Supports Prisons Service & Orphanage Home With Cash & Food Items

The (CEO) of Joy4fame Shipping Company Limited, Mr. John Obiri Yeboah yesterday assisted the Ghana Prisons Services with some food items and hand sanitizers including cash to help protect the inmates from the Covid-19.

The items worth over GH¢100,000 was shared to the prisons service and across some orphanage homes and some communities within the country.

He also averred that he and his outfit decided to do such a gesture to the Service to help them maintain the prisoners and ensure their safety in this Covid-19 conditions.

Presenting the items and cash to the Prison Service, Mr. John Obiri Yeboah said he saw the donation as the little he can do to support people in his region and several other areas.

According to him human life matters and that many people are willing to adhere to the measures and directives from the Government but financial situations are different in every area, hence the support.

“I took upon myself to support with these items and some cash for the less privileged to stay home and stay safe,” urging the Prison Directorate and communities to put the items to good use and also advised Social Distancing in their work life.

Ghanw has so far recorded 152 cases of Coronavirus (COVID 19) putting fear into a large section of the public.

This has led to a partial lockdown in Accra, Kumasi, Tema, and Kasoa in a bid to prevent a spread of the disease.

The Deputy Director in Charge of Operation at Ghana Prison Service, Mr. Isaac Kofi Egyir, thanked the management of Joy4fame for the gesture and appeal to more donors to come to their aid.
