Let’s Not Politicize Clean-Up Exercise – Convenor

The Environmental Convenor at the Agona West Municipal Assembly and Assembly member for Bebianeha Electoral Area, Rev. Alex Yeboah has admonish all and sundry to consider it a responsibility to participate in the Clean- Up exercise introduced by the erstwhile Mahama administration to help make Ghana one of the cleanest countries in the world.

Speaking at last Saturday’s exercise at Agona Swedru, Rev. Yeboah pointed out that most people are now looking at the exercise with political lens, thereby refusing to participate in the exercise, making it lose the enthusiasm the people had during the initial stages.

He disclosed that a new law is about to be passed where the Assemblies would be empowered to liase with the traditional authorities to deal with people who will refuse to participate in the clean-up exercise.
