In what can be described as a lifelong achievement as a young student, Gideon
Asumadu Appiah, a level 100 student with the department of communication
and media studies and a student journalist with Radio Windy Bay at the University of Education, Winneba has been
adjudged the student Journalist of the year in Ghana.
He was named the winner of the award at the 2019 edition of the National
students Awards held at the Jean Nelson Hall, University of Ghana, Legon.
Under the theme : Developing the culture of Excellence and celebrating integrity,
this award is in recognition of his devoted service and positive impart on
the lives of many Ghanaian youth especially students through his journalistic
outputs.
