Masadonians Foundation donates to Osenase Orphanage Home

The Masadonians foundation led by Rev. Sister Jacenta Kwaakyewaa Osei, the National Teacher’s Prize 2021 1st Runner Up has made a donation to the Osenase Orphanage Home at Osenase in the West Akyem Municipality in the Eastern Region as part of the 2022 Valentine’s Day Celebration. .

The Masadonians foundation from Akim Oda in the Eastern Region donated assorted items valued at GH3,000.00.

Items donated included Hampers, bags of rice, toiletries.

Others included boxes of soap, creates of milk, used clothes and foot wears.

Founding President of the foundation, Rev. Sister Jacenta Kwaakyewaa Osei, said the foundation aims at giving hope and support to the vulnerables in society.

She said even though the foundation was young they have been giving their widow’s mite contribution to the less privileged in the communities.

Rev. Sister Jacenta Kwaakyewaa Osei said  the month of February is noted for showing love to loved ones and the foundation thought the orphans would need it most especially when they have no reliable parents to frequently shower them with what their coequals usually get in their respective homes.

Receiving the items on behalf of the orphanage home, the Headmaster, Mr Tsigbe Wisdom Kwame, expressed his appreciation to the team for their benevolence.

He iterated that, there are several challenges facing the orphanage such as feeding and clothing hence the items presented would solved most of them and the timing was right.

He took the opportunity to call on other stakeholders and philanthropists to come to their aid especially with a school bus for easy conveying of the students.

Mr Tsigbe revealed that, the school has integrated pupils who are not orphans but with a deplorable background and are likely to miss basic education into the orphanage school to give them free tuition and feeding.

The members of delegation who accompanied Rev. Sister Jacenta Kwaakyewaa were Rev. Fr. Charles Agbesi Gagodo, Mr Dominic Opoku ( Mallam ) and Mr Osman Simon ( Sir Simon ).
