Over 200 mothers across the length and breadth of the Akyemansa enclave trouped to the mega mother’s day reception program organized by Akyemansa FM 96.1 in Akim Oda in the Birim Central Municipal of Eastern Region.
The mammoth event was aimed at celebrating hardworking Mothers as well as entertaining them for their respective roles played in the society.
The celebration which was graced by the award winning Actor, Comedian and Artiste, Kwadwo Nkansah popular known as Lilwin put the mothers on their feet in a non-stopped dancing and singing mood.
Very Rev. Della Sackey led an intercessory prayer to commit all mothers and their children to God for harmony and peaceful coexistence as well as long life and prosperity for them. She prayed for women who were yearning for the fruit of the womb as well.
Chairman of the event, Evangelist Engineer Maxwell Essel, the District Manager of ECG, thanked all the mothers and admonished them to abide in the Lord always as the mother’s prayers and wishes are powerful to cause effect on their children.
The Director of NCCE, Mad. Rejoice Bisccoff, charged the women never to give up on anything irrespective of the challenges they go through. She said mothers are so powerful and important that, they can play and fit into the role of anyone, however, the mother’s role no one can fit in.
The General Manager of Akyemansa FM, Mr Yaw Yeboah, intimated that, the love shown by the mothers was unprecedented and that means so much to the station. He promised a far better celebration next year.
