Canadian-based Ghanaian Nana Asiamah has been appointed as the Regent for Akyem Osenase in the West Akyem District, Eastern Region.
The Chief of Akyem Osenase has been sick for some time, and because of that, it’s made developmental projects there slow.
The Chief of Akyem Etwereso Daasebre Ofosu Kwabi Ayebeahwe has the one who takes care of the town since the Chief becomes sick.
The Odauhene Daasebre Ofosu Kwabi Ayebeahwe appointing Nana Yaw Asiamah as the Regent for the area stated that from today he has appointed him to take care of everything in Osenase till the current chief is well again.
He urged the people to recognize him as the regent of the area.
Daasebre Ofosu Kwabi Ayebeahwe said since the Chief became sick, he has been taking care of the town for some time now.
Because of his plenty of work, he can do it alone, so he has appointed Nana Asiamah to take charge of the town till Berman becomes fully fit.
The Regent Nana Yaw Asiamah expressed his heartfelt gratitude to Daasebre Ofosu Kwabi Ayebeahwe for appointing him as the Regent for Akyem Osenase.
He promises to team up with the citizens of Osenase who are overseas so that they can develop the town together.
