NDA Concludes Preliminary Talks With Ouban Company

The Northern Development Authority (NDA) has concluded preliminary talks with the Henan Ouban Supply Chain Management Group on a business deal that will create jobs to over 4000 workers in the Maize, Soya, Meat value Chain within the NDA zone.

The Henan Ouban Supply Chain Management Group was looking for opportunities to come and work with Ghanaians to provide jobs in the agric sector.
Meanwhile, Preliminary talks were concluded on December 3, 2019; a move that granted the Group the opportunity to explore opportunities in the agric sector along the NDA Zones which, when tapped into, will inure to the benefits of farmers and create the necessary jobs and boost the economy of the zone.
The Group has however gone back for broad discussions so that upon their return, they will be to complete the required Agreements and other paperwork that will lead to the commencement of the Projects in 2020.
The Chief Executive Officer of the Northern Development Authority (NDA) has expressed the hope that both institutions will work collaboratively to transform the livelihood of farmers.
According to him, several activities have been rolled out within the NDA zone; all aimed at building a strong economy in the Northern region and also to make more farmers independent.
He said, the NDA has also taken keen interest in challenges that are hampering yield and that government has promised to make all support available for farmers to benefit.
