OLAF & 3 Others Give To 150 Children Of Nation Builders Orphanage

One Life Aid Foundation (OLAF) has partnered by Glimmer of Hope Foundation, Women of Many Colors and Men in Men Foundation to be a blessing about 150 children at Nation builders Orphanage School as part of its five years anniversary celebrations.

The organizations embarked on the project dubbed “Every Child In School Project,” for Girls and Boys In Begoro Community, to build confidence in the children and assist them pull through the education successfully.

Volunteers from the participating Organizations took pupils through menstrual hygiene and reproductive health talks, education on teenage pregnancy, Girl empowerment, reading and fun sessions.

They have also donated education materials, nose masks and sanitary accessories to girls of the school.

Founder and Executive Director of One Life Aid Foundation (OLAF), Joycelyn Siaw-Asamoah said the project is to support needy school children in Begoro Community with education materials to help them with their learning activities.

She said, the “Thousands of children around the globe, and in our communities here in Ghana are faced with many harsh realities that undermine their growth and ability to learn and become useful in the communities they live in. Child trafficking, child labour, violence, loss of family, war, abuse and illiteracy are some of the plagues that affect them in their daily lives. We at OLAF believe education is power and can empower people to grow into positive generational influences thereby eradicating poverty and other vices that plague communities, hence this project.”

She hopes that more organizations will get on board as they extend a helping hand to children.
