Pardon Rev. Owusu Bempah – Apostle Francis Amoako Attah Pleads

Apostle Francis Amoako Attah the SEER and The SPEAKER of Parliament Chapel International (PCI) has pleaded with the authorities including the Courts to temper JUSTICE with MERCY for REV. Owusu Bempah.

He was speaking on Angel FM this morning where he indicated that, although laws operate in Ghana as far as issues before the Courts are concerned, there is also reasons for Mercy to prevail.

It would be recalled that Reverend Isaac Owusu Bempah and three others were arrested for the creation and circulation of multiple videos containing threats, and the brandishing of a weapon, and the assault of some police personnel.

The police say they arrested the suspects “after critically analyzing the said videos and based on intelligence gathered”.

When he made his appearance in court on Monday, the Leader of Glorious Word Power Ministries International and the other suspects pleaded not guilty to the charges against them.

Legal counsel for the suspects, Gary Nimako Marfo, therefore, urged the court to grant his clients bail.

The Prosecutor, Chief Inspector Dennis Terkpetey, opposed the petition noting that the defendants need to be remanded to facilitate ongoing investigations.

After hearing both parties, Judge Afia Owusuaa Appiah who is presiding over the case noted that the suspects could not be granted bail in order to enable the police to complete their investigations.

Meanwhile, Apostle Francis Amoako Attah on Angel FM, said this might not be the end of Owusu Bempah.

He said, “This would even be his beginning based on the decisions we will take. This thing can bee a catalyst for Bempah coming back even more stronger and powerful than before.”

Apostle Francis Amoako Attah therefore pleaded with the authorities to temper justice with mercy and grant him bail.

He said, Owusu Bempah is a true Brother, Son, Friend and  Real Man of God.

Bempah and Agradaa beef

This reporter can recall that when the beef between Rev. Owusu Bempah and Nana Agradaa ranged on, Apostle Francis Amoako Attah on July 20, 2021 during the celebration of Eid Adhar of the Muslims, urged both Rev. Owusu Bempah and Nana Agradaa to cease fire and consider the Eid Adhar celebration as a day to reconcile.

According to him, the long standing impasse between the two should not be allowed to continue, and that there is an urgent need for Reverend Owusu Bempah who is a Father, to let go of all the hurts he suffered from some of the utterances from Nana Agradaa.

Speaking to McLord Ice, Head of Media at PCI, he said Apostle Francis Amoako Attah received the news of the arrest of Rev Owusu Bempah with grief and said Owusu Bempah belongs to the Kingdom and anything that happens to him affects the Kingdom hence urged members to pray for Owusu Bempah.

Lessons

Considering the happenings, one can say that it is important for one to forgive and let go things that will eventually bring us down.
