The Member of Parliament for South Tongu constituency who double as the Ranking Member of Youth, Sports and Culture Hon Kobla Mensah Woyome has said Parliamentary select committee on Youth and Sports is not happy with the Minister of Youth and Sports Hon Isaac Asiamah on how he handle certain issues concerning his ministry.
Ranking Member of Youth,Sports and Culture Hon Kobla Mensah Woyome in an interview Jojo Epson on Atinka TV said Hon Isaac Asiamah most of the time turned down their invitation any time they invite him to appear before the committee to answer issues concerning his ministry.
According to him few times the minister appears before the Parliamentary select committee on Sports and Culture he always give excuses on issues confronting his sector.
Hon Kobla Mensah Woyome said government took hasty decision by going to court to dissolve Ghana Football Association,We told them initially that what they intend doing was wrong but the did not listen to the advice given them by the committee.
President Akufo Addo dissolved the Ghana Football Association after a private investigation company ,Tiger Eye P1 documented rampant bribery and corruption in Ghana football.
The minister of Youth and Sports Hon Isaac Asiamah also confirm to the media the dissolution of the association.
