I don’t think the coronavirus would be ugly as in other western countries even if community spread increases.
Yes, people will die. But the number of deaths so far recorded in Ghana from coronavirus infection show clearly that it won’t be alarming. Only 8 deaths out of over 600 recorded? Let us be realistic, It is not bad at all. Even CSM has killed more people in the north, with the upsurge of heat in the past few weeks, than coronavirus.
Let’s remain optimistic. Our weather and immune system due to our frequent exposures to diseases, unlike our western counterparts, are clearly our fortresses.
Coronavirus in my view can’t be a disaster in any African country. However, let us remain vigilant and observe all protocols in relation to the prevention and contraction of the virus.
