Pokuah Sawyerr To Burry Her Late Mother On February 16

The late mother of the Agona East Member of Parliament (MP) Hon. Queenstar Maame Pokuah Sawyerr, will on February 16, 2019, be laid to rest at Agona Kwanyako in the Central Region.

The glorious passing away of Mrs Beatrice Faustina Ama Kakraba Ayae Amoah, who was popularly and affectionately called Nee Fortson, mother of Obaatanpaa Queenstar Pokuwah Sawyerr occurred on December 6, 2018 at the 37 Military Hospital after a short illness.  She was 85 years.

Information released by the family indicates that Funeral rites of the Late Mrs. Amoah will be performed from 15th-17th February, 2019.

There will be wake keeping on Friday, February 15, 2019 at the family’ands residence in Salem at Agona Kwanyako.

The burial service will also be held on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at the Agona Kwanyako Methodist School park after which the pre-burial service will be held at the Holy Redeemer Anglican Church.

According to the family, final funeral rites will be performed at the Methodist School park on the same day, Saturday February 16, 2019.

The ceremony will be climaxed with a Thanksgiving service which will be held at the Kwanyako Holy Redeemer Anglican Church on Sunday February 17, 2019.

The family has extended invitations to all friends, sympathizers and well wishers to come and join them as they bid their mother a final farewell as she journeys to the world beyond.
