Religions To Unite And Pray For Peace In The Pandemic Crisis

The Heavenly Culture, World Peace, Restoration of Light (HWPL) will soon hold an event dubbed “Religions united to pray for peace and care for one another in the pandemic crisis”.

The event which is scheduled to take place on December 14, is expected to attract over 560 representatives from 31 religions in 80 countries to express words of consolation to humanity and reaffirm inter-religious commitment to and dialogue for peace.

11 religious leaders representing different religions prayed for wisdom and solution to the multifarious life patterns affected by the current COVID-19 crisis.

In a Press Release, HWPL indicated that the Online Gathering named “HWPL End-of-year Religious Leaders’ Gathering: United Hopes & Prayers for a Brighter 2021” will also give insights into the understanding of spiritually about life facing diseases and related social changes, express words of consolation to humanity and reaffirm inter-religious commitment to and dialogue for peace and seek wisdom and solution to the multifarious life patterns affected by the current COVID-19 crisis.

Speaking to Dawud Olatokunbo Sittu Noibi, the former Executive Secretary of the Muslim Ummah of Southwest Nigeria, he said; said “In the first place, people should realize GOD is able to bring relief. Endurance refers to hope which is requested to human beings and makes us understand that GOD also brings relief.”

Regarding how people should endure according to his religion when the pandemic is continuing. And also, to the question of “What can a religioius person do? How is your religions contributing?, Professor Noibi answered “One should recall 30:41, Q30:41. Corruption has appeared in land and sea because of the doings of the people’s hands, that He may make them taste something of what they have done, so that they may come back. At this hour, one should be aware of his own actions. We do not know where and why this Pandemic arose. But through such situation, one should seek GOD. In addition, one should seek the end of such misery when praying to GOD.”
