Residents of Mantemankabi/Nsawam, a suburb in Agona Swedru have expressed concern over what they describe as a death trap that poses danger to not only the residents, but also strangers and school children who uses the path to their destination.
The huge suckaway drain constructed under the auspices of the Municipal Assembly behind the Swedru Town Hall and near the High Court and the Anglican Church has been left uncovered by the contractor, exposing residents and people who use the path beside the drainage to a lot of danger.
Some of the residents who spoke with Capital NewsOnline.com noted the exposed drainage has been a major concern to them, and have therefore called on the Municipal Assembly to immediately do something about it before any unfortunate incident occure.
