Shehu Dalhu Abdul Mumin Commends Dr Barhama Anyas For Bringing Changes In Northern Politics

The Spiritual Leader of Ahlulbayt mission in Northern Ghana and Zongo Chief of Tamale, Shehu Dalhu Abdul Mumin has commended the Vice President, Alhaji Mahamudu Bawumia for paying critical attention to the Zongo development.

According to him, more than ever, Muslims in the country have attained their identity and pride as Zongo inhabitants under the government of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and his able Vice President Alhaj Dr Mahamud Bawumiya.

Shehu Dalhu Abdul Mumin was speaking at a durbar for Zongo chiefs in Tamale Central Constituency, where he averred that “not only has the government established Zongo Ministry, we also been honored with Zongo Development Fund with a precision aim for accelerating development in our communities.”

Shehu Dalhu Abdul Mumin indicated that it was through the efforts of the Vice President that their children gained scholarships to study medicine in Cuba.

According to him, every reasonable human being is expected to see the development of his own people and community as a priority and expressed gratitude to the Vice president for being there for the Muslim brothers and sisters.

“We are grateful for the policies directed for our development. Half loaf of bread is better than none. At least the path is cleared for future government to pursue.”

As the elections draw closer, Shehu Dalhu Abdul Mumin advised young politicians especially the youth, who aspire to be in politics to learn the Barhama way of politics, saying that “He is very tolerant, humble, brainy, sincere and development oriented. For some time now, there has been positive change in the political atmosphere in Tamale central constituency. Under his leadership, the constituency has enjoyed more civil and peaceful political activities devoid of violence and unnecessary disturbances.”

He extoled the achievements of Dr Dikumya Barhama Anyars, who he said relate very well to people in all political divides,  very submissive, accommodative, visible and accessible.

He called on the youth of Northern region to emulate the good attributes of Dr Barhama and call on his constituents to support his candidature. People like Barhama will not only facilitate human development but will vehicle of  quick transformation of our community, Shehu Dalhu said. He also appeal to Dr Barhama and the NABCO office to create additional jobs for the youth

He also invited all Ghanaians to embrace peace as we get closer to the elections and entreated all to keep the nation at heart.

He said: “We cannot afford to lose each other because of political differences. Our anger should be directed to poverty, ignorance and absence of development and against our brothers and sisters in other parties. We chose Democracy together. It is about ideas and not guns. It is about development and not war.”
