Hon Isaac Kwame Assiamah; The Sports Minister’s Summary of General Impression About Conditions at the Sekondi Sports Stadium during his inspection tour yesterday Monday 14th August 2017 has said comparatively, for all his Regional Sports Facility Inspection Tour, he think, the general Sanitation and Conditions at the Sekondi Sports Stadium is not all that bad all.
Hon Assiamah said, the Regional Sports Director (Kwame Aponfi Jnr) is very Enthusiastic and needs the support from all to do well.
According to the Sports Minister when the WAFU Inspection Team also visited his Office, they were equally full of praises for the general prevailing conditions at the Sekondi Sports Stadium, Claiming when some few things are fixed, the facility is capable of hosting the Impending WAFU tournament.
During the same Regional sports facilities inspection tour by the Sports Minister, it is equally very important to mention that,the Director -General of the National Sports Authority(Hon Robert Sarfo Mensah) was also very much appreciative of the good work of his staff at the Sekondi Sports Stadium lead by the Out-Going Regional Sports Director (Mr Kwame AMPONFI JNR) The same can be said about the Commendations given by the Technical Adviser to the Sports Minister;Owusu Ansah(PhD). The Sports Minister and his Inspection Team have since left for ACCRA.
