StarTimes Launches The Ghana Challenge

StarTimes Ghana, Africa’s leading Pay-TV service operator has again brought to the people of Ghana a most amazing and Ghana’s first ever obstacle course challenge competition, dubbed the ‘Ghana Challenge.’

 

The launched of the ‘Ghana Challenge,’ a sports entertainment competition show, to be held at the Bojo beach Resort in Accra falls on the 30th Birthday of StarTimes.

 

The competition according to the Director of TV at StarTimes Ghana, Mr. George Lomotey will feature hundreds of competitors attempting to complete a series of obstacle courses of increasing difficulty for cash prizes of up to $5,000.

 

He said: “Today, 18th October being the 30th anniversary of StarTimes, the company has reaffirmed its commitment to providing subscribers with the best of compelling content.”

 

George Lomotey explained that each competitor is expected to overcome various physical obstacles in the form of hurdles, rope climbing, digging, sack racing and a lot more within the shortest possible time to qualify into the finals.

 

He averred that StarTimes has the vision of uniting Ghanaian celebrities with their fans as they all participate on a common ground for the ultimate prize. 

 

The competition will be premiered on the StarTimes Adepa TV channel 247 in December 2018 as one of the key entertainment contents for the Christmas period.

Also explaining how one can register and participate in the ‘Ghana Challenge,’ competition, StarTimes Head of Marketing, Akofa Djankui said one must download the StarTimes Mobile App (StarTimes ON), click on the Ghana Challenge 2018 banner post and follow the prompt to register before Tuesday, October 23RD 2018.

 

She indicated that StarTimes ON is StarTimes’ official App providing video streaming service of 70+ LIVE TV channels, exclusive LIVE football matches (UEFA Europa League, ICC, 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia, Bundesliga, Ghana Premier League and online videos, catch up, short videos, plus TV guide of all 400+ channels on StarTimes’ digital TV platform, adding that the “the StarTimes Mobile Application which can be downloaded for free on the Google Play Store and Apple App store offers viewers over 70 channels.”
