The Member of Parliament for Techiman South Constituency, Mr. Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah, has been accused of threatening innocent people of the lands at La Dadekotopon in the Greater Accra Region.
Owner of the said land, Dr. Benjamin Adu has therefore petitioned the Appointment Committee of the Institute of Parliament regarding the actions by the MP on his land.
“I respectfully want to petition the high office of the appointment Committee of the Institute of Parliament regarding the conduct of the Member of Parliament for the Techiman South Hon. Martin Adjei-Mensah Korsah” the petition hinted.
Dr. Adu, through the petition disclosed that the MP has consistently been engaging in the act of unlawful entry into the said parcel of land by the use of brute force through his personal aids, surrogate and some armed personnel of the military to deter him from his right to exclusive use and enjoyment of his land and all other incidents.
According to the petition, the Law Maker on countless occasions have been harassing nd assaulting Dr. Adu by the use of the military he has employed each time he( Mr. Adu) visits his land.
“The MP has been in flagrant disregard of my rights and freedom as provided for in article 18 as well as Section 12bof Act, 1030, my rights are brazenly violated with brute force and intimidation with horror and show of bravado in secrecy” the petition further stated.
