Candidates sitting for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) in Agona East have assured their Member of Parliament (MP) Hon Queenstar Maame Pokuah Sawyerr of an excellent performance this year.
The students made this known when the MP for the area toured the various exam centers in the district amidst cheers from the students.
As always, The MP, Maame Pokuah Sawyerr served over 2000 candidates spread across 8 Centres with packed lunch of rice and vegetable stew with chicken.
The student could not hide their joy and promised to come out with flying colours and that her relentless efforts will not be in vain.
The MP was enthused about the zeal and determination with which the candidates prepared for the examinations and hope that their prayers will come through.
“We pray for God’s guidance to see all of you through,” she said.
She also promised to serve candidates with jollof rice and boiled eggs during the examination period.
