The Vice President of theRepublic of Ghana Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia has hosted the leadership of Islamic religion in Ghana and some political leaders for a breakfast prayer meeting at the Jubilee House.
The purpose of the prayer breakfast meeting is to bring Ghana before Allah in the midst of the Coronavirus pandemic, supplicate ourselves before Him and seek His divine intervention as we do our humanely possible best to mitigate the adversity.
He urged all Ghanaian and non-Ghanaian residents to adhere to and strictly observe the preventive measures outlined by the Ministry of Health, including thorough washing of hands, coughing or sneezing into tissues, and the use of sanitizers to protect us from contracting and … further spreading the virus and also help disseminate the message.
Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia urged the eminent Imams to pray for the nation Ghana and the world and also sensitize fellow Muslims to continue to adhere to good practices.
