Christians Told To Portray The Character Of Christ

Christians have been told not to see the celebration of Easter as an event for merry-making but as the moment of reflecting on the purpose of the death of Jesus Christ to save mankind.

The admonishing was given by the founder of the Christian Family Solution Chapel, Rev. Samuel Temeng during the celebration of this year’s Easter Convention held by the church in Agona Swedru in the Central Region.

According to him, the scripture mandates every Christian to live an exemplary life that portrays the true character of a Christ, and this, he said, should not be limited to occasions such as Easter and Christmas alone, but should be an inborn character worthy of emulation, even by non-Christians.

The occasion was also used to elevate some members of the church, including a police officer to the position of Elders and Deacons of the church.
