Drivers Advised To Be Cautious During And After The Yelutide.

Drivers, especially with commercial vehicles have been advised to be extra cautious not only during the Christmas and Easter festivities, but also after such occasions, to help reduce the daily carnage on the road.

The Gomoa Achiase branch minister of the Musama Church int. Prophetess Dorcas Akese who gave the advice in an interview with Capital NewsOnkine.com also called on the various transport unions and the National Road Safety Authority, as well as the Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD) of the Ghana Police Service to embark on regular road safety education for commercial drivers in the country.

According to her, road accidents remains one of the major causes of death in the country, and must therefore be a matter of concern to all.
